I am experienced in managing large project budgets and teams, often co-ordinating activity across organisations, sectors and practice. Projects I have managed have had collaboration at the heart, developing relevant, meaningful and engaging experiences for participants and learning for practitioners, organisations and stakeholders.
I have managed a range of public programmes, youth-led events, festivals and exhibitions.
Recent examples of projects I have led include: Art Gym, a project that explored how an institution can work in a collaborative and equitable way with young people to co-create and produce programme together; Altered Perceptions: Look Closer, an all female team supported young women from a Liverpool secondary school and the Young People’s Advisory Service to work together on a highly sensitive and personal installation that explored gender identity and the impact of social media on mental health; Ideas Depot, a curatorial project exploring co-curation with local primary school children and their teachers.
